REVOLVER. Cal. 45 ACP. S# 206519. Bbl. 5 1/2". Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on bbl., frame, cyl. & extractor. Right sideplate has Brazilian crest & 1937 date. Blued finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered diamond center hardwood grips with mismatched right panel & silver S&W medallions. Backstrap is numbered "24006". Century import marking present on grip frame. Lanyard ring present on bottom of grip frame. CONDITION: grips have a darkened appearance with an oil finish, handling marks & wear. Trigger & hammer retain strong traces of their case colors with notable fading to gray & oxidation Balance of metal retains 40% original blue with pitting on grip frame, a ding on left side of muzzle, a small patch of sticker remnants, overall oxidation, fading to gray & some edge wear. Cyl. has a bit of play when hand cycled but action is otherwise functional when hand cycled. Good bright bore with some frosting & sparse light pits. (25-1213/MJC). CURIO. $500-700.
